Faux Flowers!

It's funny how things happen! Last week I finally got to catch up with the gorgeous Lizzie from Wedding Yurts. We haven't seen each other for quite a while. We first met when we worked on Annabel Beeforth's 'Style Me Vintage Weddings' book and have been friends ever since. It's great to see how our businesses have grown over the years. We are making plans to visit the flea markets of Europe!

A few days after seeing Lizzie, I put a message on IG asking if anyone had any contacts with faux flowers. I'm working on the finishes touches for a bar (more on that soon) and whilst there's nothing like the real thing, the flowers and foliage have to last in bars. I like to make them as realistic as possible and we arrange them in vintage vessels, trophies, urns, anything unusual!

I had a reply from Gwenda from The Vintage Floral Design Company. I suddenly remembered that we had worked on a shoot together with Lizzie! What are the chances of that in the same week! Thank you Gwenda for your recommendation. I thought I would share this pretty shoot and your amazing flowers!

The shoot was organised and styled by Charlotte from Wilden Bride - we need to catch up soon too!
